Home

Well we made it back. It was an adjustment to come back to reality. However, we did it. Larry and I as well as our critters had to adjust. Seemed strange to be back to mail and house cleaning.

I can see where life on the road can be addicting. We met a lot of people who do this full time. Although I love being home.

I must say we came back to the prettiest scenery. Blue mountains and green fields. We left in a blizzard but came home to spring. That was a blessing. We realized more than ever we live in one of the prettiest states in America.

A gift to me was from my dear friend Sherri - she took me out to see a 7 day old little pony-girl. She really is a beauty. I have seen her twice now and it is a happy event!

Mikey, Rebecca and Jagger

After leaving sunny California we headed to Nevada. We hadn't thought of it before but it all worked out. We stayed two nights there. We saw Cher...she is amazing. Knock out body - a wow! Then a night in Beaver, UT and on into Salt Lake City.

We had tickets to see the Eagles - in Sandy, UT. My brother Mike lives there, yippee! A win - win. The Eagles were performing the Assisted Living Tour - ha. They were great, playing all the old favorites.

A highlight on my trip was spending time with my brother Mike and his wife Rebecca. Bonus was to see Sadie my step mom and spend Mothers Day with all of them. We had an amazing dinner. Mike is king of the barbie-que and Rebecca is queen of pasta. Such good cooks... remember Gardner's when traveling through SLC you can eat good in Sandy! Ha! Besides the amazing food the company was great. I really loved spending time with Mike again. They have an eight month old Bull Terrier - Jagger he is a great guy... he's a little crack up.

Mike and Rebecca thank you for a wonderful Mothers Day and fun night out at Club 90!

Subvet Buddy

Larry was in the submarine service in his younger days. He has kept up with many of the men he served with. I have felt honored to have met them as well. Leaving the coast we headed to Simi Valley. Harry and his wife Jeannie kindly welcomed us there. They have two beautiful granddaughters. Also, they have a nice backyard which the doggies enjoyed thoroughly. We all enjoyed a nice dinner out at one of their favorite Mexican restaurants.

Thank you Harry and Jeannie it was such a pleasure to see you.

Leaving SoCa...big sigh.

Wow... what an amazing trip so far. We have seen some great family and friends. Soaked up the coast. Note: not without our share of arguments, frustrations, RV malfunctions, pet malfunctions and the old downright tired of each other. I put together a few favorites of the last of our coastal journey plus a few shots of Los Angeles. Some of my favorites are Vivian Leighs star, John Ritter painted on the side of a building near Hollywood Blvd, Larry's Miya t-shirt and last but not least the Italian Lover license plate on a Ferrari we caught up with in Malibu. The flowers were simply a bonus!
